English’s of Brighton Joins OctoberBEST 2025
Brighton’s biggest restaurant celebration is back. From 11th–26th October 2025, OctoberBEST returns to showcase the city’s vibrant dining scene. Curated by the team behind Brighton’s Best Restaurants awards, the festival brings together the top restaurants in the city – alongside a few newcomers and long-standing favourites – each offering special menus priced between £15 and £35.
Almost a decade since its launch, OctoberBEST has become a firm fixture on Brighton’s culinary calendar. It was established by Andy Lynes, Patrick McGuigan and Suzanne Lindfors, three restaurant-obsessed locals who share a deep passion for food and for Brighton. Their aim? To celebrate the city’s independent restaurants and bring them the national recognition they deserve.
This year, English’s of Brighton is delighted to be taking part, celebrating our place as the city’s oldest independent seafood restaurant and a proud part of Brighton’s culinary story.
English’s OctoberBEST Menu
For OctoberBEST, we’ll be offering a set dinner menu of three dishes plus dessert for £35 per person, available:
- Sunday 12th – Friday 17th October (from 4pm)
- Sunday 19th – Friday 24th October (from 4pm)
The menu will showcase a mix of English’s classics and new seasonal creations – think freshly shucked oysters, seafood favourites, comforting autumn flavours, and indulgent desserts.
