Platter Days

Seafood lovers rejoice! Every Friday at English’s (until further notice) there’s 15% off of any of our sharing platters (and Seafood Stew) as well as a free glass of fizz, for all diners. This offer is available all day on Fridays from midday to closing time.*

For a reminder of what’s included in our sharing platters, see below:

Cold platter

Steamed & chilled dressed brown crab, tiger prawns, clams & mussels, raw rock oysters & tuna sashimi, mignonette, aïoli, ponzu, wasabi, lemon

Hot platter

Seared scallops & tiger prawns, clams & mussels marinières, baked whole seabass & plaice, monkfish tranche, battered oysters, tartare sauce, garlic butter, lemon.

Fried platter

A mix of seafood, in nori tempura or battered, including haddock fillets, soft shell crab, tiger prawns, calamari, mussels, shrimps croquettes, rock oysters. Served with chunky chips, tartare sauce, aioli, spicy ketchup, lemon.

Seafood Stew

Seabass, monkfish & plaice tranches, tiger prawns, scallops, mussels, clams, squid, tomato, parsley, croutons.
