Changes to our American Express Policy

Regretfully, we’d like to let our customers know that from Wednesday 23rd August, we will no longer be able to accept American Express for payments.

American Express has always charged merchants a higher fee than other competitors, but due to a recent rate hike, this now stands at almost three times as much as their competitors.

As a small independent business, these fees eat into our profit and sadly we can no longer afford the Amex rates.

We sincerely hope this does not cause any inconvenience and look forward to welcoming you back to English’s of Brighton very soon.
