Chef Off 2018
On May 10th, some of Brighton’s best emerging chefs from the city’s most famous restaurants will be taking part in the second, English’s of Brighton ‘Chef Off.’
After last year’s fantastic event was won by Mike White of The Salt Room, the question everyone is asking is ‘who will be crowned Brighton’s best emerging chef in 2018?’
Chefs will be at Sous-Chef level or below and they will be cooking their signature dish in a 20 minute ‘Chef Off’ against another competitor. Each dish will be judged by Michael Bremner (64 Degrees and Murmur) Steven Edwards (etch. and MasterChef Professionals winner) and Yuri Magni, Head Chef at English’s of Brighton.
As Brighton’s most established restaurant, we feel we have a vested interest in helping to uncover the city’s best emerging chef so we can celebrate the next generation of talented people who will be keeping the dining experience in Brighton at such a high level as it is now.
If you’d like to join us on the Terrace at English’s for the event, then keep an eye on our social media channels over the next week as we’re giving away tickets.
