It’s Good To Be Back!

Well, here we go again! We’re very much hoping that this will be the last time we come out of lockdown of course, but we can’t deny we’re super excited to be opening our terrace for outside dining – inline with government rules – from April 12th.

Opening hours will be the usual, midday until 10pm and the terrace will be furnished with heaters and blankets to keep you toasty should you require, as well as our parasols to keep you nice and dry!

Of course your safety is of paramount importance to us, as it always is, and we will have our strict Covid protocols in place at English’s as previously, before lockdown. These include:

Staff wearing masks at all times
Regular cleaning of menus, tables, handrails and toilets
A one way system for accessing the toilets
Keeping social distancing and minimising contact at all times, whilst making a visit to English’s as normal and enjoyable as it can be.

Now for the fun stuff! We have three new menus live for our reopening; Summer A La Carte, Puddings and Kids and you can view them all here.

The summer Set Menu is looking sumptuous as usual (thanks Yuri!) with some English’s favourites including Mussels Marinières, shallot, garlic, white wine, cream, thyme and Sea Bass, miso & peanut butter aubergine, spring onion, ginger, cumin, as well as a brand new vegetarian delight – Fregola Risotto, asparagus, pea, mint, lemon, sheep cheese.

The pricing for our Set Menu remains the same at £23 for two courses and £28 for three and continues to provide quality, convenience and value!
