Reservation confirmations at English’s

Due to the ongoing issue of ‘no shows’, which are a major issue in the hospitality industry, from April 1st 2023 English’s will be taking credit/debit card details as confirmation of booking through our online booking platform.

No money will be taken from a card unless someone fails to turn up for their booking – when a £20 fee will be charged. If we receive 24 hours notice of cancellation then no fees are charged. This is not a deposit and the fee is not charged unless the reservation is not honoured.

We’d like to emphasise that English’s don’t hold any credit card details and this scheme is run by The Fork, a TripAdvisor Company. We trust that you understand our position and we thank you for your cooperation.
