Welcome to our Winter and Festive Menus!
The winter weather has officially arrived, and with it it’s brought our new winter menu. This season you’ll find a whole host of warming dishes, the perfect remedy for the cold weather, and an array of plates you’ve told us you can’t enjoy winter without.
Over autumn we served a beautiful piece of fish, Isle of Gigha halibut. This season we’re serving it again, this time with a confit of leeks and sauce Américaine (above). We’ve also swapped our shellfish bisque for a comforting bowl of smoked haddock & leek chowder with pickled seafood.
As Christmas is fast approaching, our Festive Menu is now available to order. This year Head Chef Clayton Green has created a menu filled with favourites like steamed mussels and English’s fish pie, and thrown in some extra special plates, like duck live parfait served with smoked duck breast, orange & pomegranate jelly and melba toast (below), and grilled fillet of black bream, pancetta chickpea & bean cassoulet. It’s the perfect menu to celebrate the Christmas period with.
For those with a sweet tooth, you’ll love our brand new puddings menu. A particular favourite with staff has been the double chocolate, caramel and nougat tart with caramel sauce (below) – but if you prefer something crisper, try our lemon & cardamom meringue pie with lime sauce. Either way, we think it’ll be a tough decision choosing, so why not make it easier by ordering our l’assiette de pâtissier maison, a mini selection of our a la carte desserts. Treat yourself for £8.95 or share with someone special for £12.90. Add a glass of Prosecco to make it extra special.
