Try our brand new menu this summer

We’re pleased to announce that our new summer menu is now available to order at English’s.

Chargrilled monkfish osso buco, tiger prawn & clams, samphire, gremolata

For the perfect start to your meal we’ve got a new sharing platter, which boasts prawn & scallop ceviche, tuna carpaccio, smoked salmon, salt & pepper squid, cod tempura, aioli, sweet chilli dip and grilled sourdough. And if you’re in the mood for sharing a main course too, we have whole roasted brill, baby potatoes, wilted greens and sauce béarnaise.

One of our favourite a la carte dishes is fillet of seabass, squid, chorizo and chickpea ragout served with paneer, which also features on our refreshed English’s Set Menu. We’re serving three new salads this summer, like our red mullet, cucumber, chilli & fennel salad served with a cumin yogurt.

To end your meal try one of our four brand new desserts, including strawberry Eton mess with strawberry sorbet, or coffee crème brûlée with calvados ice cream.

Finally, you’ll find some brand new editions to our wine list, including Nyetimber Classic Cuvée 2009, from their south facing vineyards in West Sussex. We’ll be sharing more about this fantastic English sparkling wine in our next blog.
